Since 2000, I suffered from diabetes. I was really scared when I found out because both my mother and grandmother had diabetes. My energy was down to zero and I could not walk as much. I was very tired and my condition made me feel nervous. I never thought that it would be like this.
I was treated by my medical doctor at Kaiser and they prescribed Glypicide and Prinivil, which I took. I was giving up and I was not happy with the progress. I thought I was going to have this condition for the rest of my life.
In September, 2006 I came to the Natural Medicine Center and began treatments. I wanted to stop taking the drug medicine, and I did not want to start taking Insulin. I believed in natural medicine but I had never tried it. I saw a lot of happiness at the clinic and I felt like this place was a joyful and healthy place to be.
I noticed an improvement the very first day, and I was not the same person. I have more energy, I lost weight, and overall I feel better. I am able to do more and my nervousness is under control. I am now off the drug medication and I have a social life. The body pains are better and I have an improved quality of life. I am also more aware of what I should eat.
