For over 4 years, I suffered from vertigo and migraine headaches. I was confused and was wondering where they were coming from. In 2002, I had a virus that sent me to the hospital. I could not walk or talk and I had nausea and dizziness. That was when the vertigo started. The migraine headaches were unbearable and I could not function normally. I could not take my kids to school and I had to stay in bed. My condition started to really affect my lifestyle because I never knew when “it” would hit.

In 2005, my symptoms subsided, but in August of that same year I had surgery, which started my condition again. I was told different things by different doctors. My neurologist diagnosed my condition as vertigo and migraines. The hematologist told me that they were possible infarctions. And my internist said that they sounded like seizures. The medical doctors prescribed drug medications for my condition, but I could not take it.

On April 5, 2006, I came to the Natural Medicine Center because I wanted to get relief from vertigo and to have more energy. My mom, Sofia, was coming here and I saw the results she was getting. I was a believer in natural medicine and 100% of my family believes in it too. I began getting acupuncture treatments, drinking herbal teas, and following the nutrition guidelines.

I noticed results right away and I had a sense of well-being. My energy level improved and my children are very happy that I am there for them. One of my children said to me, “Mom, please don’t stop going.”, and my children keep asking me to continue with my treatments. I am learning to respect the cycle of my own body and the continuous journey of health on a daily basis.
